friday : went wala with the girls! unfortunately many couldn't make it last minute.. oh well, zhi ying and i still had loads of fun! the band was good, good, good! we sang so loudly with everyone else like nobody's business! ahhas.. lets head there again okayyy? after which, baby came to send me home. such a sweetheart isn't he?

today : went vivo with mummy to buy some stuffs, then daddy picked us up at serangoon mrt for lunch. daddy then told me a secret, *baby, you'll be supper happy to know this* that mummy likes jiayi, she thinks that he's those kind of guy who knows how to take care of his family.. hahas!

anyhow, tomorrow's gonna be our 9th month.. time passes so terribly fast and these 9 months with him had been the most wonderful. some couples see each other for consecutive days and get sick of each other. i on the other hand saw him for almost everyday(of this week) and can't get enough of him.

baby, i know i've said this many times, but still, you're the bestest boyfriend ever.

yesterday, i sobbed in baby's arms.
not because i was sad, not because he did anything wrong, but because i closed my eyes for a minute and appreciated that god was good to me.
he was good to me all along, just that i didn't sit back and come to realise, of how wonderful my life has been.
i couldn't ask for more, really.

unfortunately, i've got quite a number of project meetings during that already so short recess week =(
anyhow.. i still love breaks, that i don't have to attend lectures(okay, as if i always do =X), do tutorials (esp for 2100 when i don't understand a single thing), fret over what to wear =S .
and the most important thing? i get to catch up on teevee!! =D

okay, i know i sound super slack, i know, i know, it's time to buck up.

oh, and sidetracking a little, why do people have to put music on their blog? okay, yes i know it isn't a bad thing, but esp for music that starts with some kinda "boom!" to it, it never fails to give me an initial shock. it's like, i key the url of a certain blog and click enter (all done in the peace quietness of my room) and suddenly, "loud clashing of cymbals/super loud bass/singer starts singing loudly etc)". it NEVER fails to make me "jump-up" a little. maybe the blog should have a warning sign to warn readers that loud/rock music's gonna start like anytime when the page's loading =S seriously, i wouldn't mind if it's slower music. okay, i guess little things like these kinda irritates me, but still, i prefer to read blogs without music.

anyway, till now(i know it's kinda early, but) dnd comm's pretty eggciting!! glad to be in it, the people are fun, the job's fun... yay!! at least i'm enjoying what i'm doing =D

oh, and i forgot to mention that the female guppies in my tank gave birth! i so adore the teeny weneny baby guppies hidding/swimming/getting out of the bigger fishes' way in the fish tank! i can spend an hour of just looking at them! love them to bits, lets hope they do survive till their fins grow beautifully and continue to multiply in my little tank!

anyhow, thank you dave for buying me bubble tea at this hour. =)

today was ultimate unglamness plus embarrassment =X
can you believe it? i actually wore two different, unmatching slippers out!!! and i only noticed when i reached harbourfront mrt(heading towards baby's house) =(=(
baby's stomach was uneasy and he took an mc for today =(=( so i went to his house to bring him porridge and his mum and two sisters saw that i wore the unmatching slippers!!!! (obviously since they can see the two so unlikely and out of the blue slippers at their front door =S)
oh gosh. kill me please. they must be thinking : how can someone be THAT blur =(=(
this is the 2nd time already! the other time was.. either yesterday or the day before BUT i noticed the difference in slippers before i stepped into the lift on my way out of hall, so i could still go back to my room to change..
i think i should keep more slippers in the show cabinet already, or either way, look at my toes before leaving hall.

yay yay he's coming home todayyyyy =)=)
yesterday our family(complete with mummy, daddy, carmen, me, kor, catherine(his gf) and mama) went to beng hiang restaurant(serves hokkien fare) to celebrate mummy and daddy's 27th yr wedding anniversary! =D after which, we headed to dempsey for ben and jerry's!! and.. as there was someone performing that night, carmen and i made a dedication specially for mummy and daddy =)
i love my family to bits and pieces, and i like how kor and catherine bickers.. they're so cute!! hahahahs.. okay, for those of you who knows my brother, maybe cute ain't very suitable.. but... they are!!
catherine complains how he(kor) always wears the same shirt when meeting her, how his shirt turns yellowish overtime and he still wears it anyhow etc.
super funny! kept chow and i laughing at the behind most seats most of the time while daddy's driving!
and chow and i figured that there won't be enough space in daddy's car for everyone to sit if there's a FULL (daddy, mummy, mama, kor, catherine, carmen, zhao liang, me, baby) family gathering. so verdict : zhao liang's gotta sit on baby's legs =X hahahhas!
actually daddy wanted to invite everyone..but baby's in KL and zhao liang can only book out at night.. so.. another time then! but i'm sure it'll be nice =)

anyway.. the week seems to have passed so fast!! even faster than the previous sem..
maybe it's because my day starts late. a usual day starts at an average of 11/12pm.. which means, i wake up at 10+am everday except 1 day and sometimes even 11+am. it's so fast it becomes scary that i havent been up to date on my lectures and tutorials and pam! it's exams time. SIGH.


hall's been pretty okay.. joining two activities this sem only because i had joined 2 committees during the hols. may consider joining one sport (which makes it 3 this sem) just to make sure i won't get fat to obese =S

my fish tank had an increase in population!! =)=)


there are now....


6 guppies ( 4 female, 2 male) - pray hard that the female ones get pregnant( ceying added 2 females to my collection as he claims that female to male ratio should be 3:1 =) )!! i would love to see tha baby guppies popping out =X


11 neon tetras - (bought 6(for a dollar only!!), baby surprised me with 3, and ceying bought me 2)


3 triangle fish(baby calls it so) - it swims super fast, and mean really super fast that some times i'm afraid it would leap out the tank =S


2.. shit eater fish? - ce ying bought them for me too!! =)=) now there aren't that much shit lying at the bottom of the tank


now my fish tank's more complete =) and i love looking at the fishes.. seeing them swim, eat etc. hopefully the fishes won't die anytime soon! i don't really like scooping the dead fishes out =X and, i hope the plants won't die so soon too!! they make the tank prettier =) okayy, the pictures don't do the fish tank justice,it's really much nicer in real life, witht the lights on and everything.. so shearites, you can drop by my room to see my nice nice fish tank!! =)

on sat, mummy, aunty jo and i headed to..... grand hyatt's high tea at the scotts lounge! =)=)
yes, 2 high teas in a week! i'm so getting obese =(
anyhow.. high tea was great!! the ambience, the food.. what more could i ask for?
*please pardon the not so nice pictures.. i used my hp camera as the camera at home wasn't charged and i couldn't find the charger =X)my soft spot : desserts.
there were... macaroons, brownies (so good as usual), my favourite strawberry cheesecake(a must have), green tea with red bean cake etc.
every piece of dessert was an art, and made by some very well known chef/baker there was this dessert called a flambé which was absolutely good i tell you. it was made on the spot, whereby crepe was soaped in some sauce then alcohol was poured in it(you could tell them how much alcohol you wanted in). when that was done, flames soared. an awesome sight=). then topped with a scoop of fresh vanilla ice-cream with orange fruit and peel. i had 2 servings of them!
there was this cold dish of prawns and squid with thai sauce. the prawns so simply so fresh and crunchy, mixed with the slightly spicy and sour thai sauce, delicious.
then there was beef, sushi, sandwhiches, carrot soup(just to name a few) which were really good as well! not forgetting the chocolate fondue with freshly sliced fruits, cookies and marshmellows to complement. the good thing was, we get to sit there from 2-6pm(they'll start clearing at 5pm though) and eat slowly, chat, relax, people watch. moreover, they serve drinks(included in the high tea) like coffee, hot chocolate(my all time favourite), mocha, latte and so on, and many assorted flavours of tea. and people get food in a relaxed pace where food doesn't run out(as in the trays weren't at any point empty) as many other buffets experience.
service was great too, except that the waiters didn't clear our plates readily =X
anyhow... it was simply great =)

at night, dave and i went to catch 4bia. it contains 4 short stories and it was so scary i tell you(the only comforting thing is that the 3rd story was a little humourous)! and dave managed to keep his eyes on the screen for majority of the time, while i hid under his jacket =X
he says it's by far the scariest movie he's seen. so.... catch it if you dare!

on sunday, baby accompanied me to church then i had dinner with mummy, daddy and chow at new york new york in amk hub - i think we're like regulars there now =S
after which, baby came over to send chow n i back to hall, with the fish tank! =) hopefully the fishes doesn't die anytime soon, else i wouldn't know what to do with them =X

baby's going to KL this weekend with his friends, i'm so gonna miss him =( 11:00 AM

on wed, yiling and i headed to carousel at royal plaza on scotts hotel !
all thanks to yiling who had a voucher for 2 to high tea and so we picked a day - the only day actually, which our day ended earlier..

i made the ice-kachang myself!! ahhas! with lots and lots of red beans, just the way i like it =)the desserts were awesome!! the brownies were so superb i tell you, if i wasn't that full already i would have eaten tuckloads more =X they had kuehs too! yiling liked the tapioca coated with coconut(i forgot what it's called), and it's pink! so maybe that's partly the reason why she liked it =Xafter which we walked around to digest our food a little and took this picture(above). we started laughing after taking cuz it's a man body with 2 ladies head sprouting out =S hahas!

yays!! i love high tea with girl friends, a time to gossip, to have girly talks, to catch up and more importantly, to grow fat together. ahhahs!!

after the class outing, baby and i headed to AMK hub to catch Wall E! but, both of us were so tired(i don't know why) and fell asleep while watching the movie =X there went out $8 =( i like the seats at AMK Cathay's movie theatre, esp the couple seats, so comfy and clean! and while waiting for the movie to start at 12.35am, we camwhored =)monkey face, hahhas!! 7:31 PM
